“Software Defined Vehicle”, is the new buzz word in the auto industry. Everyone is crazy excited about it. But if you want my insider opinion, this is horribly distopic and will only bring pain for paying customers. Soon enough you will pay 60k$/€ for a nice new hi-tech car, but it won’t be a purchase. You will only have a license from the OEM allowing you to drive the car under their terms of service.
