Sounds like yet another Google project that will be promoted heavily, before being unceremoniously dropped without any warning, leaving users in the lurch.
If they stick this at the top of my messages list like Snapchat does with their shit AI thing, I’m leaving.

I already left the Messages app after the Shortcut Bar annoyance. This would have been another death knell to me that the app is past its prime.
