The 6 week ban was passed in 2019, and has basically been tied up in court, but because of the amendment to the state constitution, the law is unconstitutional, and those orgs are asking the state courts to declare it unconstitutional and remove it entirely.
Sherrid Brown really needs to be leaning into the Issue 1 and 2 results. We have proof that abortion and marijuana are popular with Ohio voters, so he needs to be going non-stop about his plans to secure those rights. Hell, I imagine he would get a fair number of people if he campaigned on removing federal restrictions on firearms for people woth medical cards.
Full agree. I’ve been a longtime fan of his but he needs to understand Ohio as a state that really wants the government to not interfere in our lives
