Honda will not produce any new small EVs as it follows market demand for SUVs

    Being from the US, I’m so disappointed this never came to the North American market, and I’m even more disappointed that more of the world is choosing SUVs over vehicles like this.

        They would have literally needed to double the range for it to become a compelling option for most people.

          Which I think, gets to one reason crossovers and SUVs are being pushed by companies. They know they’ll need tall vehicles to fit batteries under.

          However, I’m pretty sure the more recent “discovery” that high priced, low volume production can be more profitable is what’s being all brands’ reductions in small car production.

          It’s following the trend as less and less baby boomers exist (the ones who can afford new cars with less than 72 month loans). So they are making hay while they can and driving average new car prices up over $50k.

    I hate SUVs. And I really hate that it’s become the trend in the motor world. This post made me so sad and angry
