    We (humanity) could have beat this bug. Instead we have to experience it again.

    If you’re older, look at your records. They probably check if you have the antibodies. If you’re over an age and low on antibodies, they’ll re-bump you.

      I’m sure I got all my shots when younger but don’t really keep my records. I don’t even know my blood type.

      How would I know if I am low?

        Go to your doctor and ask for a titer to check your antibodies. That won’t get you your blood type, but you could ask about it at the same time. Even in the US, these are pretty cheap and easy to have done.

    If that kid’s parents didn’t vaccinate it, they should be held liable for any financial or health damage this does to those who were potentially exposed.
