This is a sweet video. Walking through the assembly and QC process is very interesting – especially details like the DIY model being built by taking apart the built model after QC and removing components. Makes sense, but would have never expected that! Very cool.
Yes, if was very interesting. I would have assumed that they would do board level tests and not test with RAM, drive, and radios installed. But it’s really great that they test all of that even if you’re not buying those components as part of the DYI package.
Now I’m wondering if they use the actual components you buy or just their test components for the testing? Also, how are they testing just the main board orders?
The transparency from frame.work is so refreshing!
