Title is clickbaity, but the need of invulnerability to prevent this from happening is real

    Tl;DR:

    Diablo player Quin69, was less than 20 levels away from soloing to level 100 when his game hung on a load screen causing his character to die from “environmental causes”.

    Theory is that it was a nightmare dungeon with a lightning damage effect constant. As he teleported, the lightening continues to damage him even though he is stuck loading. Tragic end to a 73 hour run. He also beat the shit out mannequin and a microwave, both apparently undeserving of the punishment.

      I rarely play HC, surely no when I don’t yet know the game. Too step a learning curve losing so many hours to something silly.

    I think this was Quinn 69 and yeah it was really shitty… From what I see the scrolls are actually going to function probably not until season 2 though.

      All games (or most) of this type have an invulnerability after loading…can’t be so hard to implement
