Sixth: “Voldemort Putin literally said the invasion would be over in three days but now it’s been 1.5 years and 91.8% of all Russians are dead and also we’ve taken Crimea”
Volodomyr sounds closer to Voldemort than Vladimir I think :P
Ukrainian names romanizations are crazy, i think i seen something like 5 or 6 different versions of Sergei or Alexander and nobody is pronouncing Oleh like it’s written.
Selenskij Zelensky Zelenskiy Zelenskyy Zelenskyi
Polish version of that name is Zieliński, very popular surname here (originally meaning person coming from the place with green in name).
how they view Russia: “aw shucks we sent 1 hypersonic ballistic missile and their superior white tech stopped our inferior Slavic Asiatic tech! We only had 1, we’re all out now!!!”
Remember all those “Russia ran out missiles!” people?
Didn’t they run out of planes at least three times according to western “sources”?
I think it was more inflated causality figures. Frankly I’ve only heard about the missile bit because it was parroted by some libs in Russia
So they have the most powerful air defense systems in the world, but Russia is also simultaneously launching endless terrorist strikes on civilian targets? What, is Ukraine just not bothering defending those targets?
They should really try one consistent propaganda line.
Why bother? It doesn’t seem to cause any sense of cognitive dissonance in the supporters. It probably goes like this: “The ukranian air defence is most powerful in the world! Russkies are zerg rushing it with bomb pigeons and north Korean missiles (because as everyone knows, Russia ran out of missiles in march), because russkies only do zerg rush! Sometimes it slips through and hits a school that totally has children in it and absolutely no soldiers (who are also not Nazis)”
They don’t need to. It’s all theatre to the westerners. It’s just another thing on the “Russia bad” pile. No analysis of contradictory things, no questioning why Russia would do things like blow up their own infrastructure. Just “Russia so evil, of course they would do that.”
If that’s the “most powerful” system, air defense must not be a very useful tech
To be fair, I imagine it is actually very difficult to shoot down a missile flying at full speed.
