That’s a fantastic picture! I never would have taken it on time. I had a Downey woodpecker two feet from me when I was birding today but by the time I got my phone out it flew away. So it goes
Woodpeckers can be so skittish! Luckily when I’m gardening around the flowering plants the bees are typically too busy to mind me taking their photo
