Super interesting. I think there was a lot of interest from young 20-somethings that really pushed this movie like crazy. Makes sense considering they were probably the perfect age for the original.

Also probably helps that there aren’t a lot of well marketed “kids movies” this summer break for parents to take them to.

Gotta add the lack of movies coming out this year to compete against certainly isn’t hurting.

Went in not expecting much, wasn’t disappointed.
