    I love postgres, but I really hope someone creates a new rdbms in Rust that supports distributed operation but still has serialisable transactions as default.

    It isn’t. Found a major security vulnerability in it while working as an intern years ago. Fortunately it’s been fixed since. I had very little SQL knowledge at the time. It was a glaringly obvious problem. Haven’t trusted it since.
