They did some iconic music videos for that record too
YEUAAH
It’s a promo mixtape technically, so the DL is available for free legally.
I think most of their stuff is free on their website

BEWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARE
such a nostalgic album for me too. I could’ve gone to see them live like right after The Money Store came out but my mom wouldn’t let me go cause it was a weekday and she thought all the people I would’ve gone with were “druggies”
I saw them play a DIY warehouse around that time and your mom was totally right lmao. They didn’t start until like 2 am and that room had by far the highest drug density I’ve ever experienced
I saw them relatively recently but it was an all ages show and I think I was one of the oldest people in the venue. They showed up like an hour late. It was a lot like younger fans who got into them as part of the “weird meme/internet music” pack of Death Grips, 100 Gecs, etc. Tons of cellphones in the air playing Subway Surfer. Some people were definitely high, but it was all before the show.
Nothing wrong with any of it, but it was not at all the vibe I was expecting and I had to pull a drunk friend away from a girl he didn’t realize was wearing the Under 21 wristband. We saw two people cosplaying the Money Store cover after though, so that was sick.
10/10 show, would recommend, but stick to 21+ shows if possible.
stick to 21+ shows if possible
Yeah, I’m a touring musician and this is pretty much evergreen advice. Less of a problem in my current genre (almost all of our shows are 21+, and the rare ones that aren’t will still only have maybe a couple groups of surprisingly ok kids), but before I changed styles I was starting to feel like a creeper at a high school party
Tons of cellphones in the air playing Subway Surfer.
what the fuck lol
Sad that I’ve never gotten a chance to see them. Rumors are that they are done.
It’s so goooood
I listen to the entire Death Grips discography each day as part of my cleansing ritual.
I was lucky enough to catch them live in the exmilitary era and it was awesome
