Yet another guerilla army formed in Karen state and trained by Karen guerillas is moving into central Myanmar after fighting alongside Brotherhood Alliance in Shan State. They are independent of NUG, and have said they will cooperate with PDF and NUG in central Myanmar. It remains to be seen the sincerity of the commander and leaders of BPLA in revolutionary goals or they are just another group of opportunistic men seeking to replicate the fortunes made by leaders of private armies in Myanmar while preying on the idealism of the youth.
