basically: big tech being the frauds that they are realize what simply must be the case: that the chinese are also being fraudlent in their claims of cost/ use of banned imports, etc. a man quoted in the article says the hype or hysteria around deepseek is an indictment of so many- (and it is) but he seems to be chiding anyone who believes china or cautioning investors from panic selling their stock. meanwhile the article admits that the release is indeed a step forward, blah blah blah.

Y’all are focused on the wrong things.

How precarious is the AI investment bubble that a single LLM with a single architecture innovation, that ships with a keyloggers and has the cybersecurity practices of my Aunt Kathy, and faced zero scrutiny or vetting, can “shock” the industry and drop Nvidia 14% in a day?

Bubble gonna pop soon, folks. Get your popcorn ready.
