I know Rob Flynn is getting up there in age but he just sounds bored in this song. The solo shredds but that’s about it.
Machine Head has had some high highs (The Blackening, Unto The Locusts) but man everything Catharis onwards just hasn’t been great.
I fell off them for a couple of albums I admit, but Of Kingdom And Crown really brought me back to them.
Not an expert in their discography but just pulled their page up. I find a very close trend between a band shifting towards weird title casing or using symbols to replace the letter O, and their music getting shitty and corporate.
