    The payoff is zero carbon emissions. Coal is dirty. It causes tens of thousands if deaths every year.

      Nuclear energy is really difficult and expensive to produce though. France for example is the biggest European player in nuclear energy, but they actually need to import dirty energy from Germany, because the cooling in their nuclear power plants is super-expensive.

      On paper, nuclear power sounds great. In reality though. so much knowhow, money, time, energy, research and public education is needed to implement them.

    This is good to hear, the more green energy sources America invests in the better. Nuclear fission energy may not be the future of all energy production, but it’s far better than coal.
