I mean mine does. I have a Xiaomi phone and it came with an A-to-C cable which does 120W fast charging.
The A standes doesn’t allow that much charge. So if it exists, it’s breaking the spec

Techically true. The “Adaptive Fast Charging” was a 2014 15-25W standard from Samsung that could be delivered over Type A.
Fast charging is a double-edged sword.
I’ve always heard this but when I go to chop at a guy I swear it’s ALWAYS the blunt side of the sword first. I flip it around and try again only to have to flip it around a third time to finally get the sharp side.
