A huge amount of Christians don’t even believe what’s in the Bible, if they’ve read it at all. Jesus was a brown communist who was murdered by the police and his #1 teaching was “don’t be a dick to people”.

Technically he was killed by religious leaders. Pontius Pilate really didn’t have much choice with the pharisees protesting to have Jesus crucified.

There is this quote: Atheism is what happens when you read the bible. Christianity is what happens when somebody else reads it for you.

I was watching one of those videos once where a non-religious person debates a religious person (which are always good to angry up the blood lol) and when asked about fossils that proved the world was more than 6000 years old the guy was like “well you weren’t there to see that happen so how do you know it’s true?” And the other person just let that go by instead of being like “Motherfucker, are you 2000 years old? Did you meet Jesus?” which still bothers me a bit to this day.

Well you obviously can’t believe everything you read when it’s some vague nonsense like proven facts and peer reviewed results by top professionals in their fields from around the world.

Have you ever heard of Aleister Crowley? He’s an early 20th century occultist and demon worshipper. He was once labelled the wickedest man in the world and considered a satanist.

When someone decides to give me a lecture on religion and respecting their beliefs, I enjoy discussing Crowley.

Turns out religious people aren’t nearly as tolerant or open-minded as they demand the rest of us should be to their religion.

Do I have a moment to talk about Jesus Christ? No problem! Did you know that Aleister Crowley wasn’t actually a satanist? Sure, he claims to have summoned demons, but his works are misunderstood. If anything he was using poetic license, don’t you know?

To be clear, also a kook. But a more recent one.
