Tbh, I wouldn’t pick any of the Nazi’s contemporary opponents over my current government, but that doesn’t diminish the crimes the nazis did.
And I believe multiple things can be true. Hitler can be a demon who plunged a bigger part of the world with the purpose to commit genocide.
At the same time Stalin can also be a demon, who ruled brutally, killing millions of his own people.
Does one diminish the crimes of the other.
Or to put it differently: If all the other nations would have been saints or straight from hell, it wouldn’t have changed the fact, that the Nazi genocide was a terrible atrocity.
And holodomor was also a terrible atrocity, independent the Nazi genocide.
