How did they miss the joke of the two thieves (or one or none at all) are literally different in every gospel. They both mock him in one, one mocks him while the other chastises the heckler, and in mark they’re not there at all
They added them to expand the lore
Setting up for a spin-off but they didn’t consider how much of a fight they’d have just to keep the main show running.
