recently got a ps3 and put a cfw on it so i can download games. what are some yall like that ARENT on all the “hidden gems” lists/big name games everyone already played?
my only thing is, i dont like turn based combat

Motorstorm: Pacific Rift is one of the best arcade racers of all time
Super Stardust HD (from the Returnal studio) and Resogun are both great arcade shooters
Hard Corps: Uprising is a solid Contra game entry
Pixeljunk Monsters debuted on the PS3 (now on steam and gog as well) and was a fun tower defense game.
Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD was a PS3 port with HD textures of the psp game of the same name.
Ratchet and Clank: Nexus is the final PS3 Ratchet entry that while technically flawed (rough frame drops) feels like the closest game in the series to Going Commando on the PS2
Trash Panic is a really fun digital game on PS3. It’s an action-puzzle game that makes intuitive sense. Gets stupid-hard by the end though. (oh, see someone else posted about that.)
Echochrome 1 is really good, I played the PSP version, but PS3 is probably fine too. Never played the sequel.
EX Troopers on PS3 finally got a fan translation. Its soundtrack is so good.

Trash Panic is a PS3 exclusive I miss, simple arcade game, you stuff objects in a can before it fills up too much, sort of a katamari damacy vibe. It has fun physics, you can smash things and light flammable trash on fire or snuff it out by closing the lid

3D Dot Game Heroes is pretty cool. Its basically a top down Zelda game
I don’t know how much of a hidden gem Dragon’s Crown is but that’s one of the games I set up on the emulator on my computer
The Resistance games are pretty good if you want some FPS action
Same people who did Ratchet and Clank, so the weapons have additional mechanics
Also, whatever Ratchet and Clank games are on PS3, there was several and they’re all good
spider-man 3 was a lot of fun, asura’s wrath was pretty cool too
If you like arcade games I know some sega model 2 bangers like sonic the fighters and virtua fighter 2 are on ps3, I think they’re download? I’ve never owned a triple so I can’t check
