It is extremely important to change your password since hackers or even people you know can gain access through SSH into your device or modify the system files on your iPhone. There have been viruses in the past which affected people who didn’t do this so make sure to do it to secure your jailbroken device!

Commands:

  1. Type “su root”
  2. Type the Default password “alpine”
  3. Type “passwd”
  4. Enter and confirm your password.
  5. Now type “passwd mobile”
  6. Enter and confirm your password.
