Hopefully their new coworker Agent-X is just the management push they need
I think Wendy’s surge pricing debacle was when we knew this would be the future as consumers but it’s been in the works forever. It’s the main reason we see so many points programs these days.
Hopefully we regulate this so these systems don’t extract more from the needy than they already have. They’re the ones most willing to give up their data to save money now, albeit at their own peril as it’s used against them later.
There’s a Wikipedia page about this phenomenon where advertisers started to prefer video in 2015.
Explains exactly what you’re seeing.
I too am addicted to Balatro. I made progress though as I installed RDR2. But afterwards right back to Balatro.
Best we can do is spend money on a think tank telling us it won’t work 🫠
I started a contract role 3 months ago after 8 months off with 3.5 YoE. It was my third hunt and by far the hardest. With my other searches lasting 4 weeks and 4 months respectively.
Honestly pretty done with layoffs at this point.
Nothing also hasn’t revealed if removing the rear panel will provide easier access to the CMF Phone 1’s internals, including its battery, but the feature may focus more on customizing appearance and functionality than improving repairability.
Hopefully it’s still repairable in that case. Although I’d love to see it prioritized more.
The Tour de France is on. Along with Unchained for a Drive to Survive feel.
You are invited to a meeting Agent X/Whistleblower Coffee chat.
Going? Yes/No/Maybe
The worst part is it changes every few months! So you get friends all over the world depending on when they decide to dip out 🫠
Seems interesting. My only question is what happens once it detects this?
This is probably the most relevant voice I’ve seen on Lemmy that wasn’t in tech.
Although it seems like building it under the highway was not a great move. Was there some benefit like the earth being dug up anyways when they decided to put it there?
It definitely comes later than other hands. By about ante 3/4 you can I’d say consistently score with them assuming good leveling and joker setup. Plus every boss that hides cards matters less.
It’s not easy but [[stuntman]] and [[burning joker]] can effectively make your build. Also steel cards, blue seals and gold become much better if you can hold them. Which should help accelerate the build.
You raise a good point. I’ll change the original to include the relevant excerpts so readers can decide on the meaning. Thanks 👍
There is but it won’t be released till after the election according to Freeland.
Edit: thanks to ILikeBoobies@lemmy.ca for pointing out editorialization concerns I’ve added a relevant quote below from the article.
Senior cabinet ministers wouldn’t say Tuesday if the government is prepared to release the names of parliamentarians who are alleged to have conspired with foreign governments and to have consciously shared sensitive information with their agents — conduct that one expert says could amount to treason. There may still be police investigations into these allegations, the ministers said, and details could eventually be released as part of that process. But that raises the question of whether the voting public will know who’s alleged to have engaged in such conduct before the next federal election, which is expected sometime in 2025.
The economy is booming, and yet many Americans are still gasping for air financially. They simply don’t have the breathing room to plan beyond their present needs
I have a feeling that the economic news is maybe put of touch with what people are actually dealing with.
At least if you’re told it’s not doing well you can see space for improvement. But if it’s sold as doing well and you’re not then you get…well this.
Hopefully the beurocracy doesn’t stay as such a strong barrier everytime.
Curious if they’ll cover what happens when they have to move/form families in this model where 10% of homes are built this way.
When I saw the functional moss I was sold!
I mean he probably does…he did start it before moving onto Nostr.
Truely a delicacy.
