Its been a bit bothersome that some of my podcast favs seemed to have uncritically painted the Venezuelan VP as working with Trump, in the days after the kidnapping.

Not sure if context matters, but a “tour” in a combat deployment isn’t the same as an “enlistment” term.

There was a time and place when a thing or two needed to happen and they just happened to be there to do it. I can appreciate them for that.

Everything else, not so much.

In all the contexts I’ve come across in person is has always been something about a “person acting in an extreme way that endangers themselves/others” and in other instances “making others concerned there is a potential of being put into extremely uncomfortable and/or dangers situations.”
