This reminded me of another stupid person who don’t understand how work works.

If you work 6 hours, you get a 30 minute break. 5 minutes for every hour. This new hire who was on a work program as he was unemployed and didn’t study, thought that meant he had 5 minutes every hour and 30 minutes if he worked a 6 hour shift.

So for every hour he went out for a cig, gone for 5-10 minutes and sometimes 15-20. We had to go get him several times. After a few days he was handed a stern talking to, where he would argue for his understanding of the law. He called the boss a dumb bitch for not knowing how it worked. He never came in the following day.

  • This really fucking pisses me off. Tangen, a very very competent investor, either is incredibly incompetent or he’s lying about knowing the company was producing military equipment for Israel.

The ethics committee for the fund has done fuck all about it, and they’ve known for more than a month.

It shows how money hungry people have no morals and only care about money. Tangen might be one of the best investors, but he’d stomp on a child’s neck to get the tiniest bit more in returns. I wish we could hold him accountable in a way that would show him how his investments have damaged innocent people.

I’m not nice for someone else, I’m nice for myself. I like being nice to people, it makes me feel good, and that’s why I do it.

I’ve got a parent who’s incredibly selfish, narcissistic and evil. After processing the years of trauma he’s inflicted, I’ve realized all I want to be is a nice and genuine person. I want people to experience warmth and happiness, cause a life without it is not worth it.

  • Steak, fish, boiled potatoes and fish pudding, basically anything my dad made.

I was 18 when I found out steak wasn’t supposed to be rubber. The foods in themselves should be good, but the way he prepared them, ruined everything.

Now as an adult with my own kitchen and money, I can make the meals phenomenal in comparison to what dad made.

Take the dish fried rice, everyone is head over heels about it, billions of people eat it. But for me it’s associated with some really terrible shit. Soggy rice, canned corn, grey minced meat, canned champignon and lots of oil. No seasoning except salt and the oil.

  • Isn’t it strange that “trusting” someone now, means letting them constantly spy on you?

I talked to some late teens about it some months ago. They see it as an “I give you permission to see my every move” kind of thing, as in they have nothing to hide. And they do it pretty early on in relationships, as a show of commitment.

I got my SO to turn off location tracking on Snapchat because I got a message from a family member about his location. She had screenshotted his location from the snap map, searched the address, found the person living there, searched him up, found out he’s also gay, and wondered if I knew he was out with another man?! FYI we attended a dinner party at the guys home.

That’s the level of insane some people get. Constant surveillance, mixed with insecurities and stories of cheating, and you’ve got a shitty ass cocktail.

Me having location shared with my partner of 20 years is one thing. But sharing it with anyone else? Fuck no.
