And water. Oh the water…
Doctors in our part of Canada are seeing a dramatic rise in scurvy. Fucking survey. Capitalism is awesome…
It’s already happened. Look at how many strikes have been ended by back to work legislation in the past decade.
Honestly, all of it. Not a video game fan even having been raised through its development. I have zero nostalgia for any of it.
We have a small area of land that is very rural. We grow a lot of vegetables and all our own chickens, fish and hunt, raise hens for eggs and more. We are regenerative.
We created community by trading with like-minded individuals. We offer one another access to our “junk piles”, equipment, resources and labor. We don’t really fit in where we live but we have found people like us in the middle of nowhere by just existing.

Never took the blue pill in the first place. I worked to live only, not lived to work. Then Cancer retired me permanently at 42.
International treasure. Canadian here. All 3 of my kids also got free books.
There is nowhere left to “go”. The only answer is to take it back from the corporations and governments.
I did when I owned the cavalier. Now I am back in my homeland and my cars fall apart in a few years.
And the 1992 chev cavalier. Indestructible.
funny thing. Go back far enough and they’re from Africa.
I see what you did there…
I had a friend back in my younger years who got a drinking and driving ticket on his bicycle. Around 1995.
Gross story incoming…
In my 30’s I worked with people with developmental disabilities. There was a 45 year old man I worked with occasionally who had brain damage from a fever when he was a baby. He had a strange fetish for dirty diapers and could not control it at all. If he smelled or saw a dirty diaper he was getting in there and there was no stopping it. I got called by his worker one day to help get him out of a dumpster. He found a bag of dirty diapers and was like a dog on a poop pile, rolling around and smearing it everywhere. Gross.
We live in the same place. Pickled beets and overly expensive thrift stores.
Fishing is pretty great. It doesn’t have to be expensive or fancy either though it certainly can be. You have to also remember it is called fishing and not catching for a reason. Enjoying the activity and being out there itself is more important than the result sometimes. Keeping with it will earn you the rewards over time. Not all of them will be fish.
