OldSchool RuneScape is my jam. They poll updates and are very community involved. The game isn’t for everyone, the grinds can be very, very, VERY long.

They also just released OSRS’s first new skill so there’s tons going on in the game right now.

Other than OSRS, I fail to see any MMO doing well. They always seem to have some glaring issue somewhere. The current state of WoW (and Blizzard as a whole, I couldn’t even bring myself to finish Diablo 4) just makes me very sad.

Jagex maintaining the game with bonds is so vastly different from the gold sellers with armies of bots. It’s incredibly disingenuous to frame this like Jagex is abusing these poor souls for profit.

Believe it or not, armies of bots ARE bad for the game. Are bonds the best? No, but at least Jagex had all the economy data to work with them.

Wearing the One Ring does make others invisible because one thing it does is take you into the unseen world (where the wraiths are visible and not just cloaked) and basically most people think you’d have to have the willpower and wear the ring for long enough to drag yourself back into being seen.
