Literally anyone “could” be a spy.
Doesn’t that mean the spooks can basically veto any candidate they don’t like?
I’d say it was written by an AI, but I doubt even an AI would make such a mistake.

Perhaps it’s more to do with changes to the internet over the past 5 or so years? Such as the pervasive rise of algorithmic feeds designed to drive “engagement”?

They already de-federated 447 instances, I doubt that will make much difference.
As someone who mostly likes those things, that does seem to be a big problem here.
