Magpies generally eat small animals and insects, so giving a little bit of dry cat food or a bit of meat is good and builds friendship.

My nan and Opa have been friends with a Magpie couple and they have seen a number of chicks hatch on their backyard. Maggie’s will come right up to their backdoor and eat out of their hands lol

Happened a couple of years ago now, but I won’t stop being annoyed when it’s really hot or really cold lol!

Blacksound records have a VCR TV that plays old live concerts of metal bands. They have a bunch of old and new metal vinyls.

I don’t have a record player so I haven’t gone in there, so I can’t tell you what they have really. But they seem to specialise in metal.

So something that amuses and bemuses me, is that the Owners Corp of my building got contractors in to install double glazed windows.

Except, they only installed them on our back bedrooms. They neglected the sliding doors and windows of the first bedroom and the entire wall of the living room being sliding glass door and window.

There’s no heater or aircon in the back bedroom; that’s in the living room.

Is installing double glaze in the bedroom furthest from the rest of the apartment really going to help anything?

I’m still losing heat and cold through the big wall of normal glass IN FRONT OF THE SPLIT SYSTEM

Yup. When they were first available, had three in total. Haven’t had any in a few years now tho, not for COVID anyway

Feeling so much better. My swollen sinuses have reduced so I can breathe through my nose again kind of.

Slept all night and most of today, so I have ruined my sleep cycle, but at least I feel more normal.

My assessment: first time we got COVID it was two and bit solid weeks of fever fugue state, we have little to no memory other than agony. Second time was about a week and a half and that sucked, like a very awful flu. This time it was a week, with 3 days of utter hell in there. But we’re definitely recovering faster than the first or second time.

Yeah the woolies homebrand one, it was all over the other place so I checked what I bought lol I was duped too.

The original homebrand was green, and so is this. Without looking properly, they look the same

Managed to get a solid 7 hours of sleep, and I feel a tad better.

Apropos of nothing, I realised I ended up grabbing that US butter that has a very similar packaging to the Aussie stuff. I didn’t realise until I saw people complaining about it and checked lol. I’ll have to be more aware next time I buy butter.

What got the root of it out was the salicylic acid bandaids, they’re pretty good! Much easier than applying the acid myself, and not as nausea inducing as that freeze pen I got for this lol

I thought I’d handle it well, considering this is the third time I’ve caught covid, but I’m so frustrated. My sinuses are exploding, I can’t seem to get enough water into me, my nose is swollen shut but still runny.

I just want to sleep, but I can’t sleep without breathing through my nose.
