I wouldn’t call it a ‘very small minority’, personally.

Most people who actually have dark humor don’t really have to bring it up in conversation that often, because they aren’t assholes who use it as an excuse to say slurs and hateful/hurtful things.

The people who are normally quick to let you know that they have dark humor are the ones who use it as an excuse to say a bunch of gamer words, at least from my experience growing up.

    Bibi’s Bestie Brandon.

You never see anyone wearing a stupid ass blue Joe Biden hat and “Cmon Man” Shirt do you? People vote for him because they have no choice, not because they like him.

I’m going to vote for him and its going to hurt my soul to the fucking core. That’s just how bad Trump is for myself, family, and friends. I guess I’ll have to choose a genocide fundraiser to keep my friends from being fucking executed as ‘pedophiles’, or whatever.

I dont know why this would be surprising. The man is a literal death dealer rapist who laughs at and mocks the misfortune of others. I wouldn’t ever expect any semblance of respect or sympathy towards him from the general public, not even for a second.

People are going to roast him every chance that they get, and I think it would be naive to act like he doesn’t deserve the treatment.

  • Just curious, were you from a conservative family? Or was it just out of the natural political ignorance of youth? I only ask, because my parents were mildly progressive, and I feel that I was sure Fox News was propaganda about as soon as I learned it existed in high school.

My parents never told me this explicitly, either. I just remember Fox News being very pro-Bush at the time I discovered it, and immediately knew it was garbage. I was maybe 15 or so.

Not saying this is you, but I can only imagine how hard it must be to break out of that spell, when it’s been force fed to someone by their parents for their whole lives. It’s similar to religion in that way.

  • I know that. So you agree and idk what you are trying to add here. Hence why I said that they are bothered when they see the word ‘female’ on things like their medical paperwork, dead named IDs, products they have to use, etc.

Just because they are males doesn’t mean the rest of the world automatically changes its pronouns for them, and its unfortunate they have to deal with that.

  • Ah, I see what you are saying. I understand the connotations of referring to someone as female directly, and I would never do so.

There are times where female is more proper to use, such as in medical settings, or as a descriptor in certain settings, e.g. ‘female hygiene products’. Some trans males and enbys would still be bothered by seeing the word ‘female’ in the proper setting, too.

I understand that some women don’t want to be called female when they are not cisgendered.

I just don’t understand why a cisgendered person would have a problem being referred to as such, unless they were unsure if they were cis, or were bothered by the topic of gender identity as a whole.

If its the former, than I can understand, but if its the latter, then that’s a you problem, and I don’t care if you are offended being called cis.

Do you find all the other labels that can be used to describe yourself offensive, or just this one?

Like are you offended by being called a human or homo sapien? Are you offended by being described by your skin color or race? Sexual preference? I just find it weird to single out the one label for no apparent reason.

How would you suggest we describe people that aren’t trans or non-binary in a way that wouldn’t offend you for whatever reason? As uncomfortable as it may be for you, gender identity is a thing, and the rest of the world is going to use that word to describe people. It would probably be best for you to just get over it.
