Uses to go to Mountain Jam at Hunter Mountain in NY almost every year. It’s still a smaller event than the big ones and I think it makes a huge difference. It’s amazing but I haven’t been since before the pandemic. Camping with a couple thousand of your closest friends that you’ve never met while live music plays all day and night is incredible. Just migrating between campsites and sitting down for beers with everyone while they do the same with your campsite is a lesson to humanity.

I’ve had an Apple Watch 5 since it came out and I see no reason to upgrade. The only thing I really dislike is the battery life but to fix that you’d need to get a Garmin or similar. So can’t think of a reason I would upgrade.

I wonder what happens to Google without the advertising monopoly. They kill off everything else they build so realistically they are just an ad company at this point which offers a declining search engine. While they won’t be dethroned anytime soon in search, they keep making it worse so I have to imagine it won’t be gaining users. If they did break it out, maybe that will improve search.

That to me is the shock. There is probably nothing Trump could ever do to lose that 45%. I mean he could literally shit in their carpet and they would frame it and put it on the wall. 45% of Americans are completely cut off from reality…that is a very dangerous situation and I don’t know if there is a solution.

Pretty awesome and they have crazy features for camping like a slide out cooking top. I like the interiors a lot. Owned quite a few Volvos because I liked their interiors as they feel really quality (to me) and just make me happy to sit in and I got that same feel for Rivian. I focus on interior because that’s where I sit and I think of the Rivian interior as a mix of Volvo and Land Rover. I do a lot of camping and this would be the vehicle for that…you get basically a remote generator anywhere you go.

I’m due for a new vehicle and likely would have just got a model X if Musk wasn’t Musk. So, I’m at least one lost sale. Likely going Rivian.

We will hear an immediate news bulletin that all post office vehicles will be model Ys or something like that.

As an artist on the streaming platforms, I don’t just distribute music to one, it gets sent out to all. I put the most effort into growing my Apple and Amazon music streams as they actually pay. Spotify gives me by far the most streams but they don’t pay shit so I just don’t put much effort into that. YouTube seems to pay pretty well for music streaming, even got some royalties from TikTok even though I didn’t realize I was on there. I heard Tidal and Deezer pay well but I don’t have listeners there so not much I can do with that.

As an American, I would recommend that folk reconsider travel to the US during the current administration. There are no longer checks and balances and it’s a very dangerous place at the moment. They’re removing all accountability for the border patrol and any immigration adjacent services so they can now do whatever they want. You’re at the complete mercy of the immigration service and they have full latitude to do whatever they want (legal or illegal) as the threat of repercussions have been removed. Be safe out there.

The problem is that she screwed rich people over. If she stuck with just screwing over everyone else she would have been fine.

I actually haven’t played anything on PC since o got the Steam Deck a couple years ago so I’m covered on that front. My last major challenge is going to be music production. Reaper works on Linux and my audio interface works on Linux but I have like 20 audio VST plugins that need to be checked and I’m guessing almost none will work on Linux. So, considering my hardware will no longer be supported I have to find alternative Linux friendly versions. Realistically, I just need to switch to only built in Reaper plugins.

Just realized my 10400 is on the list there. That’s not good. Not sure what they’re expecting from folk but I’m not buying a new windows PC so my options are Linux (probably) and a Mac laptop for my DAW as Linux plugin support is limited
