No disagree here. :)
As a counterpoint to no proxmox, I get a lot of utility in being able to entirely destroy and reprovision VMs. I get it adds a layer of complexity, but it’s not without its merits!
With respect to the media, you can mount the volume as read only, preventing Jellyfin from accidentally wiping your underlying content.
And then you take that token and give it to your AI…?

Fairvote Canada@lemmy.ca•ACT NOW: Tell the NDP to make proportional representation a priority in this minority Parliament. The 2025 election with first-past-the-post moved Canada even closer to a divisive, two-party system
6·vor 6 MonatenHonestly, I’d argue it’s about both.
Imagine being a staunch supporter of party X that gets involved in a scandal. 90% of the MPs defend the scandal, while 90% of the party X voters oppose it. With proportional representation the party could split and voters could support party X2 and actually have a voice.
As it stands, voters get fucked with a “keep supporting us or you’re letting your enemy win”. I think the above applies to Liberals, Conservatives, whomever.

9·vor 10 MonatenPreventing this oscillation between governments in power is a strong argument in favour of proportional representation. I would far rather have slow shifts in minority governments where we can actually plan and accomplish infrastructure projects instead of this wild “we abandon what the last government didn’t have time to complete” seesaw.

Depends on how you get it. Consenting adults donating their own they can afford to lose? Vegan. Caged up toddlers that can’t consent? Not vegan.
