Star trek touches on it a bit. Some people definitely still cook in the shows, but it’s almost seen as a thing for special occasions.

I also think they left a lot unexplored with the whole concept. Like cut back on the relationship and politics stuff and focus on what it means to be Mickey/clone.
Have you looked at the state of the world. I think the issue is your just not being absurd enough.
I appreciate what they’re saying, but its basically changing the nature of the question:
There are many times I’ve known how to automate something, but the cost of doing it wouldn’t be worth it.
Just to expand on this.
Because of this subtitles and dubs don’t usually align perfectly and will have somewhat conflicting content.
That’s why it takes two days
Yeah, the more data you have around the database the better, but that’s always been the issue with data governance - you need to stay on top of that or things start to degrade quickly.
When the governance is good, the LLM may be able to keep up, but will you know when things start to slip?
I’ve done some work on natural language to SQL, both with older (like Bert) and current LLMs. It can do alright if there is a good schema and reasonable column names, but otherwise it can break down pretty quickly.
Thats before you get into the fact that SQL dialects are a really big issue for LLMs to begin with. They all looks so similar I’ve found it common for them to switch between them without warning.
This is like how they’ve been reporting Trumps budget proposal.
Its an overall increase for the budget, while cutting a ton of things that helps everyday people.
Yeah, I had a bent pin once and was able to manually straighten it, but that was a much older processor/mobo combo where I think the pins were larger.
I think they were trying to call out that women are still underrepresented in a lot of different ways. Removing gendered based awards reduces the opportunities for women to be recognized, if you believe they are underrepresented.
Think of it like the eye of sauron, when it’s looking at you it won’t miss anything, but it needs a reason to be looking.
There is so much junk data out there, you don’t know what matters. But the moment you have a face, time, and area you can do some crazy things.
If you install windows it can, but natively it can’t as those games don’t support Linux. However, you loose a lot of the value of the steamdeck (SteamOS) by installing windows.
Also windows sucks on a handheld. I dual booted for a while, but it’s just not really worth it.
I feel like blufire never got the recognition it deserved.
Yeah, if you look at most electronics, appliances, etc. you’ll see where purchasing power has increased. Just not sure why food is one of the things that seems to be going crazy lately with inflation.
The US was on its way to that, until Trump and Republicans decided to trash the entire world economy.
I also argue the world building alone makes them worth it. While the dialogue and plot had some issues, all the new worlds/aliens/the actual sith/etc. heralded in a new age for star wars.
The world in the sequel trilogy is so small in comparison to either of the other trilogys.
Nothing really, it’s just a way for the federal government to expand control and tracking of people.
These are the most common approaches I’m aware of.
The only other real alternative, without changing the underlying DB or architecture, is you could break up the database or archive data.
Many times you don’t need old data and can ship it off to S3 or something similar. Additionally, you may have tables/data that are disconnected and could be broken off into two databases. Both of these tend to just push off the inevitable, but could buy time for a larger architectural change.
Not so sure it’s really a blue tax versus different requirements. One side just needs a rod made of pretty much any material, the other needs a skin-like orifice.
