Depends. Friend or Pseudofriend or Pseudoenemy from School: I wouldn’t notice, except that some subtle records like contacts and photos of them would be gone, but I rarely actually look at those. Person from University: I would think to ask in about 7 months, then be confused no one knows him. Oscar Wilde: I would try rereading The Importance of Being Ernest at some point, the cover not being a very notable feature of my bookshelf, so I wouldn’t notice earlier. The guy from TheClick: I watch his content about once every 2 months. Dean Herbert: Let’s hope the writers retcon in some other guy who makes a circle clicking video game.

I have a little bit of a cringe-problem, so If the lyrics of a song portray some feelings I can’t imagine sharing or being worthwhile having, I can’t really listen to it.

Lyrics are also banned for background distraction music, the kind of music I listen to to block Background Noise that would be annoying me when I do homework. Listening to music like trance (my lofi beats to relax/study to replacement) moves the problem from being annoyed by noises I don’t want to hear, to slight problems having complicated thoughts I would want to vocalise out loud or in my head. So sometimes I just turn on Brown Noise (Bass-boosted White Noise), or Pink Noise where I forgot what it is, but that feels weird in the ears after 1 to 2 hours. I don’t always need to play sounds I pick, but sometimes, I really don’t want to hear other people’s noises.

Yeah. It also looks like the buttons might light up on hover, but they already basically do that so that’s only a very small plus. I too remember being annoyed about not seeing content behind the shade properly.

I have made about 5 entries, in the last ~2 years. The first few are so incoherent stream-of-consciousness that reading them didn’t feel valuable anymore. Then there’s the one where I come out as specifically gay to my dictionary, and the latest one at least 6 months later in which I comment on the previous. Maybe i’ll write another entry soon.
