I had this one on my radar and ordered it after watching this trailer. It looks very fun!

I’m hoping for a new F-Zero as a release title for Switch 2! 🤡
I was really looking forward to ths one, but then I read some reviews…
I’ll be playing The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of the Wisdom full time for the foreseeable future. Also loving it!
This past week I also did a whole Arcade playthrough of TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge co-op online with my cousin. Our first time playing SNES ever was TMNT: Turtles in Time together back in the day, so this was really cool. They released the new DLC after our playthrough, so I tested it but I’ll have to come back after Echoes.
I had also been playing TLoZ: Tears of the Kingdom while waiting for Echoes. I’ll eventually get back to it and hopefully finish the story before Switch 2 comes out 😅
I stayed up late last night playing and I agree. It’s such a pretty game and the puzzles with the echos are great. You can solve things in different ways, even with the X thing where you get Tri to hold on to something and follow it with R, that’s such a cool mechanic. Gathering new echoes also has a Pokemony kind of appeal for me, gotta catch 'em all and see how they work! As someone else commented I do think there’s quite a bit of unnecessary dialog in this one, but other than that it’s been so much fun and I’m really enjoying it.
🙈🏴☠️
I’ve only played a little so far, but yeah, the mechanics with the echoes for fighting and solving puzzles are really fun!
I just got it through the letterbox and I’m afraid to even open it since I have to work 😅
Praise Hylia 🙇
September 26. My pre-order shipped yesterday, I’m praying to Hylia it’ll be delivered today 🙏
Yeah, I really like these interviews, it’s fascinating to learn about the process! And how an idea can end up into something completely different but at the same time an evolution of it.
The thing is making a game that pushes the PS5 must have an obscene budget. How do you even leverage all that tech? It’s “more detailed graphics”, “more stuff on screen”, "more effects ", etc. You need to create, design and program those assets to a very detailed level, lots of people hours. And you’d end up spending millions for a game which would end up being exclusive to PS5, which gives it less chance to sell to a wider audience and make that money back. It’s a big risk.
Yeah, I wish people checked it out before voting. It’s amazing!
The Orville Season 4 Reportedly Set to Begin Production In Early 2025: https://comicbook.com/tv-shows/news/the-orville-season-4-reportedly-set-to-begin-production-in-early-2025/
I really hope they learned that lesson! 🤞
Both, it’s part of Digital Eclipse’s Gold Master Series, like Llamasoft: The Jeff Minter Story and The Making of Karateka.
From their website:
More than 15 playable classic games from the series’ history are featured, including many being released for the first time outside Japan. Battle your friends in the multiplayer cult favorite Tetris Battle Gaiden, create massive explosions to clear lines in Super Bombliss, and see where it all began in 1984 with an accurate recreation of the first version of Tetris on the Electronika 60 computer.
As the next release in Digital Eclipse’s acclaimed Gold Master Series, Tetris Forever includes over 90 minutes of all-new documentary footage exploring the lifelong friendship and creative partnership between Tetris creator Alexey Pajitnov and The Tetris Company founder Henk Rogers, as they share the extraordinary but true story about Tetris.
And as this celebration wouldn’t be complete without an all-new Tetris experience, prepare to enter the… Tetris Time Warp! Up to four players will “warp” between different eras of Tetris in real time to experience a variety of classic graphic styles and play mechanics!
I’m hoping for this too. But knowing Nintendo, they’ll add some gimmick or innovation to it. It’s hard to imagine they’ll just release a more powerful Switch. Hopefully whatever they innovate with is fun and successful.
I read somewhere that one of the rumors is the joycons are going to be bigger and there’s also a rumor about them being magnetic 🤷

I watched this recently and I’d be really interested in reading different interpretations! Amazing film!
I didn’t have much time to play this week, but I’ve been really enjoying The Legend Of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. I don’t know how it compares to other 2D Zeldas yet, but I’m really liking it so far. I agree on the performance issues, they’re not too major. My only complaint would be there’s a lot of reading on this game. Not that I don’t enjoy reading, but there’s so much story being told by conversations with the characters… It feels like a lot at times. I’ll keep playing on the weekend.
As I mentioned on the other post, I just ordered the Patrick Star Game, so I’ll probably get it some time next week.
