Cat’s overqualified for that position.

It only attended lectures, but did no tests or quizzes? Even if it negotiated pass/fail grades on attendance and not exams, the degree should probably have stipulations requiring some number of credits be from letter grades.
At best, this cat was auditing classes. I do not believe it earned this degree and I would not hire it in the field based on it.

No, I tell people they are overreacting when they attempt to push me into a position I never started at for some personal reason I cannot fathom. And that’s me being polite.
I brought the topic back to my stance on not calling pet owners (the primary demographic I’ve encountered who call themselves “furbaby parents”) “mother” on Mother’s Day because that was what my first comment said and was always about. Not anything about denigrating people that take care of animals. And certainly not because you have a female username. Once again, you’re trying to push my words into a weird position for your personal reasons. First trying to claim I think less of people that take care of animals and now apparently trying to tar me as some sort of sexist?
That’s more than some deadbeat parents have ever done.
And we don’t typically celebrate those people on any holiday. You obviously feel strongly about this but please try to step back and realize I never said a word about animal stewardship. The existence of shite parents says absolutely nothing about the worth of animal stewardship because I believe they are not related beyond a general grasp of empathy. And even that’s tenuous if I’m allowed to believe people that say they’d sacrifice a person to save a dog.
Calling yourself a “furbaby mama” I’ll not try to gainsay, even if I do think it’s silly. But expecting people to address them as a “mother/father/parent” is something else.

Initial guess was the Manosphere Special: “Wish that were me lol”
But with your comment, I think they were saying something stupid like “Cali/liberals are all pedos”?
Call me an asshole if you’re so inclined, I’m not wishing someone a happy mother’s day because they have a pet.

It’s true. I have been told by many women my head looks quite phallic. Every one that’s told me that has been too impressed to date me. I didn’t expect it to affect even my online interactions.
Suffering from success…
Please spare me your strongman, “sticks and stones may break my bones” schtick. I’m not talking about soft shit like that.
I was addressing you from the standpoint of workshopping potential reasons why your attempt at persuasion was facing pushback (in the form of downvotes). My expectation was that, if you wanted to persuade people to adopt your method of HR interaction, you should package it in a palatable way. You seem to subscribe to the “shit yourself in public, stomp around aggressively, and then try convince people by saying
do ya get it yet? you smellin' what I'm steppin' in?
” school of communication. One thing I will agree with you about is that I was imprecise with my words. I’ve used money, so I am a capitalist. Guess I’ll die. I meant, and should have said, you seem pro-capitalist. But, as we’ve already established, you’re uninterested in looking good.
It’s rare I see someone I can block so readily. But even a cursory glance at your profile says we don’t get along.
In case you aren’t aware, both comments are referencing an old Youtube parody animation about Dragonball Z called “Dragonzball PeePee”.
Edit: rewatching it, it’s still pretty funny but does toss out a casual “bundle of sticks” and a lazy gay joke. So there’s your “old media warning”.
…
Thanks for cherry-picking the one paragraph I expected you to. Instead of the many other lines stating how eco-fascism is a subset of fascism concerned with authoritarian control of populations for the “presumed” betterment of the ecosystem. While a normal fascist state can use ecological rhetoric to propel their fascism ideology, eco-fascism also provides a trap for radical environmentalists. The difference, and prime point of conflict, is that protecting the global ecosystem is a good thing and passionate environmental activists run the risk of radicalizing into, or being derogatorily labeled as, eco-fascists. Whereas, I don’t see a well-meaning person falling into traditional fascism.
But you seem pretty intent on misunderstanding so this will be my final comment to you.
To reiterate. The comic is not espousing fascist thought or telling people to let it slide. It’s saying: don’t say shit like “humans are the problem” because you sound like a(n eco-)fascist when a less genocidal solution is “give up capitalism and try a different way of trading for necessities and luxuries.” I hope I don’t have to explain that “humans are the virus” is not a phrase easily carried by connotations, so a listener cannot just infer “oh yes, the speaker clearly means ‘all the fascists unrepentantly making the world worse are the virus and should be purged’.” They will instead hear “humans are the virus” and think ‘this weirdo wants all humans to die.’
If you want to (paradoxically) use eco-fascist phrases to espouse your anti-fascist ideology, you are allowed to but you’ll waste a lot of time, like today, trying to confirm that you and they are on the same side. Because you’ll just sound like an eco-fascist.
I don’t presume you’ve checked the accumulated downvotes but
Mcdonalds burger flipper level reasoning
stinks pretty badly of classist ideology. Paired with a comment that seems more in-tune with the needs of the company than the employee, it does not paint you in a good light.
I understand the comment is speaking from the capitalist’s side but you don’t have to wear the suit so naturally. Historians won’t be putting on red belly shirts and sticking their heads in honey jars to give talks about Xi Jinpeng in the future.
The most reliable way to sex a skeleton is to be interested in what they’re interested in, and not say stuff like “ay, babey, you’d looked better with more meat on those bones!” Otherwise, just ride the vibe and see where the mood takes you.
People are tired because there’s literally no winning with tactics like that. The idiotic tactics on display in the OP aren’t about realistically “winning” the culture war. It’s just sowing so many nonsense weeds that any reasonable discussion is choked off of the vine. When you allow inanity like “male/female skull assignment” as a platform instead of “simply being correct”, the whole game goes down the toilet. It’s now just “who can shout the loudest and the longest and into the most ears directly”. That’s not a race with a finish line, it’s the cultural equivalent to a “last person shitting” contest and these motherfuckers are full of shit.
If you have a mind to think, you can only turn it off so long. And when the reasonable person does switch theirs back on, they’ll eventually have to contend with the mess.
If I’m not wrong, English is not your first language. I think you should look up “eco-terrorism” and “eco-fascism” as words and try to understand them. “Eco-fascism” is meaningful different from normal “fascism” and can’t be swapped out as you want.
