“The media is liberal!”
“Who told you that?”
“The media.”
“The media is liberal!”
“Who told you that?”
“The media.”
Wait what? And that sort of things is legal?
Technically no, if it can be proven that the goal is racial discrimination specifically. Every so often there’s a lawsuit claiming just that. Problem is, it tends to get resolved by the Supreme Court which is two-thirds chosen by the “let’s make it harder to vote” party.
This video was clearly created by leopard supporters who just wanna be mad at tiger for leopard’s failure to beat gorilla. Leopards are basically just light gorillas. Vote tiger.
I’m not sure who she’s gonna actually end up hurting this time. I gotta imagine anyone who falls for the Jill Stein shtick is likely to fall for Trump’s too.
Your comment after being imported into China:
The chinese narrative isn’t that nothing happened , it’s that there was a battle outside the square, including protesters lynching and burning cops and cops gunning down unarmed protesters on bikes from their trucks. This is corroborated by videos and pictures.
The western narrative of tanks going into the square and gunning down tens of thousands of protesters (after getting delayed by tank man) is blatantly false, as you can see in the uncut tankman video pans over to show the square the tanks are leaving was empty except for some bikes.
I’m not sure if OP was intended as an ad or not, but I think we should have an informal rule that if a top post is about a product, we should all upvote the comment that has the worst fact about that product. It’s the only way to be sure.
“FEMA used up its budget ferrying illegals into the country instead of saving American lives. Treason,” Musk wrote without evidence on X
It’s infuriating that just because some powerful people demand it, this fake claim gets spread everywhere just before the election, while Trump’s very real decision to send Vladimir Putin covid testing equipment for his personal use while American hospitals were struggling gets almost zero attention and fully silenced on the platforms used by people who need to hear it.
But without the electoral college, politicians would suddenly have to care about states with a lot of people living in them
Search for “airplane” and “explosion”, I’m sure that doesn’t look good either. Seek and you shall find. Cancun had 10 million visitors last year, I’m sure everything happened to everyone at some point. But kidnappings are winning the bad luck Powerball.
Mexico’s murder rate leveled off years ago. It’s still unacceptably high, but it’s been a while since they’ve been a less-failed state than today.
However, Guerrero is one of the worst-affected states for drug violence
This is the same mistake people make in the US when talking about “unsafe cities” ignoring that crime is concentrated in certain parts. The same rule applies everywhere in the world: there’s safe and unsafe spots. So no, you’re not gonna get kidnapped from a Cancun resort anytime soon.
Probably less javascript. In theory, javascript makes sites faster because it diverts processing to the user’s browser. In reality, developers use it to load all sorts of frameworks, third party whatevers, and other crap that slows things down. In other words, the same reason old websites load fast.
Logically, the answer would have to be that Democrats lack the power to preserve it. Which happens to be true because:
King of the Elitists
This is the sequel to Rain Man that was never made.
I’d argue it’s not a paradox because it relies on two different definitions of tolerance.
Tolerance 1 is basically the kind of free speech principles adopted by most democratic societies and is probably necessary for such societies to remain free. Tolerance 2 is just silly. If you’re in a forum specifically for debating deplorable opinions, fine. But there’s no reason that a politics forum needs to cater to deplorable opinions.
Hypothetically there could be bigots you could have a rational debate with, but they tend to not remain bigots for long.
He used to care enough about money to not say these things publicly. Now he’s got so much money that it really doesn’t matter if it costs him a billion dollars to tweet something stupid.
Either that or all the ketamine over the long term fucked up his brain somehow.
Let’s be real, teenagers are always assholes. There’s a lot of social pressure for teens to be assholes. Look at any teen movie for example, the plot is pretty much always about how adults are wrong about everything and how freeing yourself to be more of an asshole (and generally louder in every way) is the way to go.
The tip is also often pocketed by the owner because of the way a tipped wage works (basically if there aren’t enough tips to cover minimum wage, it’s as if you are tipping the owner), and also the payment provider (square or whatever) takes a cut of the tip and whatever fees too. Every dollar should be regarded as going to the owner and/or silicon valley billionaires no matter what, the whole notion of paying staff is smoke and mirrors.
