It’s true in that almost every food item is made “with science” (university-educated food technicians, biochemists, engineers etc.) these days, but you hardly need science to make common drugs like alcohol, caffeine or nicotine. Coffee and tobacco are just plants, and fruit will spontaneously start fermenting all on their own.

I tried buying more physical books. I have a small stack of it, but I can’t motivate myself to actually keep reading them. And there’s always the danger that I find a page turner that’ll keep me reading the entire night …

Die Altersempfehlung scheint mir relativ arbiträr zu sein. Soweit ich das verstanden habe ist die Logik einfach, dass das das Alter ist, in dem die meisten Leute noch keinen Geschlechtsverkehr hatten, was unnötigerweise ältere ausschließt, die die Impfung noch nicht hatten, aber auch noch keinen Geschlechtsverkehr hatten bzw. sich bei ihrem bisherigen Verkehr nicht infiziert haben.

Wenn ich mehr Geld hätte, würde ich ernsthaft überlegen, die Impfung als Selbszahler nachzuholen.

Das ist doch beim ÖR schon scheiße, müssen wir das jetzt echt nochmal reproduzieren?

I always build my own PC. It’s only relatively easy if you’re used to the process, and even then it’s still substantially more difficult than gaming, because mistakes actually have consequences and many parts can’t just be sent back after you tried installing them.

TBF there’s quite a lot of time that goes into researching the right parts and the right shops to buy from, which depending on the person might be considerably less enjoyable than gaming and also requires more mental presence than many games.
