was just surprised to see variations like kawaii solar and cottage solar, ones that i’d never heard of… and they have metropolis solar, so they’ve clearly thought about how geographical location affects the expression of solarpunk, but didn’t think about port cities and tidalpunk? the author just travels in different online solarpunk circles i guess.

I’ve been noticing some issues over at a community I mod, connectasong@lemmy.world, where the next post is supposed to relate to the previous post. A couple times in the past month (20 days ago and 5 days ago) it seems users have not seen my posts and have made connections to the post before mine.

I’m wondering what could cause this? Some kind of federation issue or update lag?

weird, this is the second time it seems like my post hasn’t shown up in others’ feeds because i posted something 3 days before this… guess I’ll have to start using my lemmy.world account

the prompt to restart happens to me on debian when using the software manager too.

on my manjaro machine updating via terminal doesn’t cover some updates. Opening the software manager reveals missed updates. stuff like gear level and freedesktop.org. couldn’t tell ya why.

on my fedora kde machine, it misses stuff from Discover. also not sure why.

on mint, terminal covers everything. same on debian.

since i was like 12. couldn’t read the board in math class. never had any trouble like what you’re describing though. i loved it immediately. hadn’t know what I’d been missing. the leaves on the trees were so clean and crisp. it was amazing.
