You can’t see it but the genie also changed his name.
I’m just guessing here, but the left image looks both low red and out of focus while the right one in much higher red and much more in focus, so it could be that the little bit of hair on his brow just doesn’t show up well on the CCTV and that’s why it looks like he has more monobrow hair on the right. I’m not dismissing the possibility that he’s a different person completely, but if I go with an Occam’s razor though process, I’m inclined to lean in the direction of it being a visual thing with the camera+lighting+environment difference rather than being a completely different (but similar looking) person with a weapon like the one used in the shooting and a manefesto and the same style of face mask, ect.
Hold up a minute, you are putting words in my mouth. I’m not even making any claims in my comment about how many Stalin killed or that he acted alone. Only the historically accurate fact that he is responsible for a significant amount of death and suffering, and that statistically it is impossible that everyone persecuted by the (Stalin lead) soviet government was innocent. You can argue numbers and western perception all you want but it is a historical fact that Stalin had the blood of innocent people on his hands, as many world leaders throughout history have had (including most if not all us presidents). Even if your claims are true it still doesn’t invalidate my point.
It’s not a double standard though. Killing one person who was objectively profiting off of the lives and suffering of millions of people is very different than killing/imprisoning anyone who disagrees with you.
That’s an untapped market!
There is an app that makes it really easy to figure out what brands contribute to republicans vs democrats and also gives each brand a scored based on how likely shopping there will lead to campaign finance reform. It’s called goods unite us. Openscecrets is great and much more detailed but I think most people in my life would rather install an app with a button that tells them where to shop for groceries and that’s what goods is.
I’ve already gotten myself a Costco membership because they’re the only grocery store near me that’s both cheap and doesn’t give oodles of money to republican and conservative PACs AFAIK. There’s other stores I’m planning to switch to but yea I figure groceries are the most inpactful thing I can change right now.
Yea I did the same thing as you about 2 years ago. Gonna maintain and use this phone for as long as I possibly can before either betting another one or find a equally good or better solution that doesn’t give money to google(and hopefully one with a replaceable battery)
Yes that is true, so ask yourself why they would make such announcements after they know it won’t change anything. Best case scenario they are trying to save face for when the tarrifs drive up prices. Worst (and IMO most likely) case is that they use it as an excuse to further increase their profit margins, much like they and other stores did when there was an increase in inflation.
I’m not saying no one was warning us against tarrifs, just pointing out that Walmart specifically waited until after trump was elected (apparently twice now) to announce their warning about tarrifs.
The fact that they’re sending this message now means they will use this as an excuse go raise the prices even higher than nessesary to increase their profit margin. If they really cared about consumers then they should have been yelling from the treetops BEFORE the election.
My question may have been rhetorical, but not disingenuous. I firmly and honestly believe people should have access to information to help them make choices. If you care about objectivity then you should provide some hard evidence to prove your point instead of just telling people they are wrong. Feel fee to try proving what kind of “agenda” I could have by beleiving in free access to information while you’re at it.
Yes people have the right to make shitty decisions. I’m sure you wouldn’t disagree that people should also have the right to know how their decisions affect them so they can avoid making shitty decisions if they so choose, right?
Unless it plays Xbox AND PC games I’m not even the slightest bit interested. Even then I’d still probably prefer the steam deck or whatever iteration of it exists in however many years.
Oh hey look more forced conservative propaganda.
Well they certainly won’t win, but I feel like they will try at some point.
So they’ve already embraced and now they’re extending. Give it a bit more time and they will start to eliminate.
If only it worked like that.
Get them PC components while you can, before they’re tariffed into oblivion.
