61·1 year agoHonestly I don’t see why buying data on the open market is illegal. I think it shouldn’t be legal to sell it but it is. I’d prefer nobody have access than the NSA pretend they don’t see what anyone else can buy.

Because it’s not a conspiracy theory - there was an impeachment trial about this.
Their evidence of Nazism was Ukranians asserting a separate identity and language from Russia. It’s tantamount to calling Native Americans Nazis for protesting forced assimilation.

Seriously, no sincere white supremacist genuinely thought Zelenskyy’s administration was sympathetic to their cause. Neo-Nazis are Putinists through and through.
Honestly this is great though. The GOP should be bombarded with this fact for the entire primary, make sure Haley supporters never want to hold their nose in the general.

Don’t get me wrong it’s great the number of accounts that have moved there, but we’re not even close to where we need to be to make one platform the go-to place like Twitter was.
The problem is that we’re scattering. A handful to Bluesky. A smattering to Mastodon. A pittance to Lemmy. Building a unified community on a single platform again will take years.
It’s not that Americans are stupid. Any nation can fall into the same trap if we devolve control of our infrastructure to plutocrats who look down on the public.
It’s the attitude that Americans are dumb and deserve our fate that’s shared by the elite who make it their business to fuck over the most vulnerable of us.
