I do something similar except I’ll stop using my GPS if I’ve driven the route multiple times.

I still remember picking up a couple TouchPads during the fire sale. That was my first foray into sideloading and retro gaming. Both tablets are now long dead, but we had fun times!
With American-made phones and American call centres, right? Right?
The original developers of Vokabulantis, now Out of Words, have pulled the rug on Kickstarter supporters of the game by revoking Steam key pledges after 4 years of development. If this affects you, let the developer know and request a full refund.

Shayne not being part of the pull-up segment is criminal
I’m pretty sure Dyson killed these themselves the moment they turned these from concept to product.
This season (series) of Taskmaster is an absolute delight. Watching Jason Mantzoukas’ direct his chaotic energy at completing silly tasks brings me joy to no end.
I feel like I’m beating a dead horse about this now, but Scavenger’s Reign and Infinity Train.
I’m surprised they came out with the purple and transparent one.
Maybe they believe they’re “one of the good ones”.
In these politically charged times I think you need to provide a blurb or something to subdue the knee jerk outrage.
“This initiative will help us fulfill our responsibility to share NASA’s story widely and effectively – by reducing the number of accounts, improving the signal-to-noise ratio of content, and making our messaging more unified and accessible.”
So nothing whatsoever to do with cuts that could be headed the agency’s way or dodging an awkward social media moment if an axe should fall on a perfectly functional mission, right? No, this is all about consolidating posts, so users keen on following the Voyager mission don’t have to bother hunting down a feed for the spacecraft; it’ll all be under @NASASolarSystem and @NASAJPL.
Affected accounts, such as @NASAVoyager, will run a version of their greatest hits before the end finally comes and someone presses the archive button. As for what “archived” means, there will be no more posts, and eventually the account will be removed. A spokesperson told us, “As part of this process, we’re working to ensure compliance with record retention requirements.”
I like the direction, but I’d need the transparency to be dialled down a bit cause the contrast is missing.
Glad to hear there’s a toggle to reduce transparency. I’m cautiously excited to try it once it’s ready to ship.
I think it’s a great idea. Will update the sidebar later tonight.
Detectorists was very well done. It’s a brief 20 episodes over three seasons and a couple specials, and it’s buttoned up so well at the end. Highly recommend!
The way I see it iOS and macOS are typically released well into the fall, so it doesn’t make sense to name them 2025 versions when they’ll get the most use and refinement in 2026. Everything else just follows that cadence as secondary systems.

My top three favourites from the PS3 era would probably be Shadow of the Colossus, Ico, and Journey.
Depends on the complexity of the route. When I visit my parents in another city (5-6 hour drive) I write down the intersections/exit numbers to look out for on a sticky note I leave on the dashboard.
I guess if you wanted to get detailed you could include the distance then as you drive do the mental math as an activity for yourself.
