Tiki culture is a celebration of tropical escapism. It’s a longing for the time when Pacific islands were still “exotic” locales that inspired Donn Beach and Trader Vic to create their own versions back home.

Pull up a chair or slide into a booth, sip your Mai Tai, and enjoy the decor while listening to the sounds of the Hukilau.

Things that aren’t exactly tiki, but that we will allow, as long as they are tiki-ajacent: Hot rods, Pinups, Lowbrow Art (Rat Fink et al), Surf music, Science Fiction.

Not allowed: Jimmy Buffet, Margaritas, John Mayer, and Jimmy Buffet. (Have I mentioned that Jimmy Buffet is NOT allowed here? Ok, good. Just so we’re clear.)
