When you say that it sounds like a bad thing. I’m hopping from service to service too.

I don’t get why people think they can have 15 streaming services for the price of one, and get served the $100 million movie of the day.

And the icing on the cake is that many use this as an excuse to pirate that stuff as if they were entitled to being entertained.

Most say it because they remember when Netflix had everything. It was a nice easy one stop shop and they want that again. Maybe it would need to be more extensive, sure, but every company stopped agreeing to license to Netflix because they wanted a larger peace of the pie. Sure they have the right, but people also have the right to not like it.

Honestly, I’m tired of seeing all this great tech get ruined. We could have all these things. But someone has to make money so we don’t get it.

Man, I WISH piracy WAS theft.

I wish that if I were to go pirate, idk, Debbie Does Dallas, that the physical copies would just disappear. The people who made that movie wish it too, cuz that could have saved their copyright, and their copyright case is the reason this 70s porno is now forever entrenched and sealed into the an(n)als of US law history.

That’s a true story, hilariously enough, if anyones looking for a spicy rabbit hole to jump into. It’s relevancy here is used as juxtaposition to the inanity of copyright law and the chuckleheads who leverage themselves lifestyles from the creations of other people.

“yOu WoUlDnT dOwNlOaD a CaR wOuLd YoU?”

Motherfucker if you could download a car, everyone would fucking do it. EVERYONE. That’s tangentially proven by the proliferation of ghost guns. The ONLY benefit of Ghost guns is it forced law enforcement to admit it’s impossible to trace a round back to an individual gun, CUZ ANY AMOUNT OF TIME THINKING ON IT AND OF COURSE THATS IMPOSSIBLE. Shit don’t get stamped on the way out, and theres no apple tag embedded into the shotgun shell or slug, yet, anyways (excluding hypothetical bespoke and bedazzled independent pressing).

Sorry, I just REALLY hate being led on or lied to by anyone, but 1000x by anyone entrusted with authority. I’m 100% totally fine with the breaking of public trust being dealt with by firing squad.
