      So, this might be an absolutely stupid question, but with that level of constant heat causing potential mass aquatic death, wouldn’t that cause a localized bacterial bloom?

      I can’t imagine that doing anything good. Mass contamination of local waters and beaches, what would it do to local reefs? I’ve understood those to be fairly sensitive when it comes to ecological changes, but I’m also not exactly a marine life expert. I’m pretty dumb when it comes to the ocean.
