President Lula is pledging to reduce deforestation to zero by 2030 and is calling for a reduction of greenhouse gases by 67% compared with 2005 levels.

As a Brazilian, I’ll believe it when it see it…

    I’ll believe it when I see it. Deforestation has been pretty much a bipartisan agreement because no party would go against the beef and soy industry.

      The Brazilian Congress IS by and large the beef and soy industry. A lot of them own massive farms.
