Here in Germany there are some initiatives to get cars out of bike lanes by simplifying the process of notifying the authorities.

weg.li offers such a service by allowing you to upload pictures, time and place, and it will do the rest for you. It requires you to leave your name and contact details, since the police might need to contact you

OMG I din’t know that exists in Germany. I use my bike mostly for travel and there are so many times people are parking on the bike lanes or even on the sidewalk.

Yes, I just used it to send my first ‘Anzeige’ this week. Read our other comments here regarding how many cases are actually followed up, we don’t really know.

But cities like Berlin seem to be somewhat positive

Sadly we can not really say. According to the weg.li FAQs, it is not really known how many of the offences lead to fines or other punishment, as the authorities in charge of dealing with the proceedings give out no or very little information on the cases.

Some places will notify that a case is processed, but the authorities are not allowed to say more about how individual cases are handled.

The mention ‘Percentage of privately brought up cases ending with a fine paid’ in Berlin being over 50%, but I could not really find any other source for this number.
