In fairness, there was no discussion when the Armenians genocided the Azeris to make the region so homogeneously Armenian in the first place.

Both are cases of one group of people committing genocide and another using that/desiring to use that as justification for commiting genocide in return. If you think Israelis should return the land to Palestine then that aligns more with Azerbaijan in that conflict. If you support the status quo or think Israel should have all their internationally recognised territory then that aligns more with Armenia.
