Anyone know what happened to unilem.org? It was my main lemmy instance for several weeks, then it just went poof. It’s been down I think over a week.
PS. thanks to whoever removed it from the list @ https://join-lemmy.org/instances – initially I was going to post here to point out that it probably should be removed.
PPS. I did not join that instance because they said they will federate with everyone – I just saw it in the list and randomly picked it. I only learned about their federation policy when trying to find out what may have happened to it a couple days ago.

Thanks. Yeah, losing the account kind of sucks but not the biggest deal. The ability to instance-hop is a great strength of the fediverse, even if it does mean I have less faith that my accounts are permanent.
