    Its easy to say. People don’t go to Israel from India cause they like it there.

    Those people who goes to places like Israel doesn’t have much option to earn anything close to what they would earn there in India. People may not go into a war torn country , but if it pays well , yes more will go.

      Yes of course I understand. There are south Asian workers in gulf states who work in terrible conditions but as the author mentioned there are multiple reasons to not allow systemic migration of Indians to Israel. In this case Indian workers are directly displacing Palestinians.

      This decision is more about Indian government wanting to suck Israel off than actual concerns about Indian people.

      Also, it’s in part India’s shitty fiscal policies (in part forced upon it by the west) that is responsible for creating a situation where so many poeple want to leave the country.

      India has vast surplus of labor which it isn’t utilising to keep wages down and because capitalists don’t want to invest because there isn’t much demand in the first place and the state instead of expanding state enterprises and welfare is instead privatizing everything and cutting welfare making the demand situation even worse.
